Bart Gains a Little Bit of Weight

The Simpsons is one of my favorite animated shows of all time. It is a satirical parody of the "Middle American" lifestyle epitomized by its title family, set in the fictional town of Springfield, and lampoons many aspects of the human condition, as well as American culture, and society as a whole. Here is a scene from one of the recent couch gags, a running visual joke in the opening credits. Can you guess what this video made me think?

We are fans of the show and have seen this episode. It reminds me of the new movement to replace junk food vending machines in schools with organic and nutritious snacks. I also find it interesting and disheartening that the poor are more overweight due to their reliance on processed foods designed to be convenient. Convenience is going to be the end of us.

Coming from a weight loss blog, all I could think of was all the kids who are so overweight now. It's just another commentary on our way of life, I suppose.

After watching that episode, it showas all the toxins in food nowadays. Just look at the lable world, it'll surprise you!!!!!!!!!!!! In fact me and my friends has a bonfire and I threw in a couple of potato chips and they caught on fire, AWSOME!!!

The truth has been said here before. We need a lot more money to eat healthily in the USA. Fruits have gone up a lot more tha junk food.
