How To Work Faster on High-Res Screens
Here is a tip to increase your productivity on the computer if you have a screen with high resolution. Actually, it even works for resolutions like 1024x768. Sometimes when I'm writing a post, such as this one, I need to see both the browser and the notepad at the same time. That way I can read and write without touching the mouse. The idea is to split the screen in half using this nifty program called Sizer (freeware). Take a look at the screenshots:

This is a very cool option. I like it.
I went ahead and bit the bullet though and got two monitors. You learn you can't live without this after you have had it for a bit.
Really cool info buddy. You are cool
Or you can just press ctrl, click on the buttons corresponfin to the windows you want to tile on the task bar, right click and select tile vertically or horizontally!
You could always just get a Mac :P
With no stupid blank backgrounds with programs (Photoshop for example) I could watch a movie or view a PDF or something while IN Photshop because of the transparent window...and NOT have to resize the entire program.
It's much easier to just use dual monitors.
Thanks for the link.
I've been using v2 of Sizer for about 10 years to test web sites at different resolutions, but lost the URL for it years ago!
Very cool app! I can definitely appreciate the benefit. Now all I have to do is pick up that widescreen monitor I've been looking at. :)
