Play Tron Online and Offline
Sometimes it is not just play. You need to think about strategy, timing and other things in order to win. Like all games I blog about, here is another one that is bound to get you thinking. Based on the light cycle sequences from the film Tron, the aim of the game is to be the last player riding. So avoid running into walls, your own tail and that of your opponents. You can play the online (flash) version here or download the offline versions mentioned below.Although the online version of the game is easy to finish, it is good fun for just 10 minutes. What if you would like to get more of that drawing lines to beat the enemy action? Well, that is where the offline versions step in.
Offline versions: On top of providing you with more levels to complete, the graphics are a million times better! Download Armagetron Advanced (screenshot on the top left) or GLTron for free. Both games are open source and available on multiple platforms (PC, Mac, Linux) but only Armagetron Advanced has Internet play (MMOG) as well.

Hi Ilker - I'm not much of a gamer.
Some PS2 games I play with my son every blue moon annoy me so much that I just get so frustrated!
I guess that's why people have GameBoy rage.

Highly addictive!
Lame... there's no way a human can beat a bot with an algorithm like that. The bot turns right when I make a turn! Another player wouldn't have those kinds of reflexes. Impossible! Stick with Armagetron.
@Anonymous: Nothing is impossible. That bot is beatable. Use your head!

Anonymous: Quite the opposite. Managed to find little tricks/patterns that confused the A.I. Found 1 pattern than beat lvl 1 through 5... another for 6.... and oddly a very easy one for the final Omega level. ;)
Tip- levels 3-5 are cake.
1. Head directly for your opponent head on until your about an inch away and turn down
2.turn left just after your opponent turns left, you should be under him running parallel.
3.Your opponint will then turn up and begin a box pattern, this gives you time to attach your path to his begining path above you, boxing him in
4.Stay alive for 5-10 seconds while you watch him die in the box you made.
awesome game. Finished the first six levels in 15 mins. but couldn't go the omega level :(
beat level six, took a while but i finally did it. tron is great
Woohoo! I beat the omega level! By the way, there IS a trick that beats the computer every time. I noticed that if the computer meets your line, it starts following it until the space becomes too narrow.
