From time to time, I will post pictures that need no description but worth a thousand words. Pictures that require a pause to think. Which thousand words to choose?
Let me know your first/last reactions, thoughts and emotions - either by commenting here or writing on your blog. If you don't have a thousand words for it, you can still blog about it like GR8Egypt.
BTW, yesterday was really hectic with all the domain address moving and shaking. There are still tons of things I need to take care of. *sigh*
I don´t have any words - just another picture.

I just wonder how a keyboard can get so dirty. Ahhh....
The boy looks like an Indian child
Disturbing.
Makes me wanna cry.
I want to feed all the hungry.
I don't like seeing dirty children.
I want to do so much more than I'm doing for them...
I did cry, for the same reasons as you, dear, sweet and kind Paula!
Yet, he is not dirty... he is so pure. Look at those eyes! I don't see the dirt. I see the jewel! I see a world of wonders in his eyes and I know he has something we've probably lost: the power to dream. He has it... it is there... What is that keyboard? A piano? Does he even know what a piano looks like? Is it the control board of a space ship? What is he dreaming of in his innocent play?
I see hope. I see beauty.
It's both sad and cute at the same time. Made me think of the One Laptop Per Child project.
Thanks Steli Efti.. you are supercool!
nice pics, I like it :)
What's with the feet under the keyboard?
I think they can't afford shoes for him, so they are dirty. If you are asking what his position is, I think he is sitting in a "lotus" like position and has his feet together with the bottom part facing up-ish.
I wish I knew more about this image.

The post is very apt for the "The Thinking Blog" title. I am making this the Post of the Day and is a very strong contender for the Weekly Awards.

I wonder if they'll give him salt or maybe Tabasco sauce to enhance the taste of this keyboard? And is he keeping the sandal for dessert?
I had that same problem! Just some rubbing alcohol, q-tips and a little elbow grease and she was shining like new.
I think this picture is both captivating and elegant.
I put forth, it is constructed.
1) Relative dimensions in this picture don't work. Judging the size of the shoe in the background vs. the size of the keyboard in the foreground, then factoring in the size of the child supports the theory. Could a child who fit behind a keyboard, have arms that long?
2) Just outside of the left side of the arm is blurred in, as is the ear.
The picture makes wonderful statements. It was interesting to study. Thanks.
This reminds me of the $100 computer project for third world countries. I hope that project take off because this kid looks like he is playing with a discarded keyboard.
Yes, a picture sure paints a thousand words..what I got here is appreciation for what I have now...
Sometimes we know it..but it's weird how sometimes we just need to be reminded..
