Seizure Optical Illusions
Ever wanted to experience the effect of magic mushrooms without eating them? OK, maybe you will not experience a trip with visions and revelations but here is a good source for optical illusions and more info on how they work. However, the important thing I would like to share with you today is this wicked website I recently discovered with the following message."CAUTION!! The figure shown below may feel you sick. The latter illusions had no effect on me. I've seen several of them, but only about 3 'worked', none bothered me.
Never been on mushrooms b4 so don't know what it's like.
The only one that had an effect, the image looked liked it was turning left, turning right. It was called
"Rokuyo stars" Man, it felt weird.

None of these really affected me and I am prone to motion sickness. Maybe I was not close enough to them.
I guess there are a lot of factors involved in terms of how much you feel the effects.
I found that with a bigger and brighter monitor it works much better. Also depends how close you are to the picture. I tried it on our plasma TV and the difference was huge. Does anyone have a home cinema and a stable stomach to try it on a larger screen?
But the biggest factor, in my experience, was how well lit the environment you are in. When I watch the illusions in the dark, I can't look at them for more than 10 seconds.
The ones that really affected me were:
1) "A color curtain"
2) "Blue sun"
3) "A pulser"
And on the second page:
"The scintillating red illusion 2"
I'm getting sick!
I'm with justin ... there was one illusion that worked (with all the circles), but the others just looked like lots of squiggles.
If you haven't seen it, here's a pretty good illusion I just posted the other day on my site. Most people so far don't believe it.
