Ads in Captchas
Seth Godin is thinking! Basically the idea is to commercialize CAPTCHAs by using them as spaces to sponsoring companies. Of course, by putting recognizable words in captchas rather than random strings of numbers and letters, the likelihood of a non-human could guess them would increase. Loads of different ads (and sponsors) are needed to secure comments from spam.

BRILLIANT idea!!! they could at least use the logo with the captcha key next to it.
It's a clever enough idea, but it's got it's limitations.
Plus, if the current theories are correct, spam will be outsourced to India and the Captcha will be useles...
I'm with Wayne on this one.
All the major corporations (the ones you want to spend their money on the idea) will be susceptible to the spammers as their names will be programmed into bot vocab.
Seth's a great thinker though.
